About the role

TCL Specialties is seeking a skilled, safety-focused Maintenance/Reliability Electrical–Instrumentation Technician to support our Plant Maintenance/Reliability team at our new chemical manufacturing facility in New Martinsville, WV. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure safe, reliable operations by executing planned work, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and sustaining our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) processes to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Retention Bonuses

  • $2,000 bonus at 6 months
  • $2,000 bonus at 1 year

What you’ll do

  • Champion a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Execute planned and scheduled electrical & instrumentation/control system work to meet schedule expectations and prevent failures.
  • Troubleshoot minor electrical and instrumentation/control issues as assigned.
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams and third-party resources to prioritize work and optimize resources.
  • Actively use the CMMS to keep work orders, materials requests, and data accurate and current.
  • Document work in accordance with the Maintenance Work Process.
  • Understand and meet regulatory (PSM) and internal standards for E&I activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Coordinate effectively with fellow E&I technicians and production personnel to support plant reliability.

What you’ll bring

  • High school diploma required; vocational/technical school a plus.
  • Petrochemical/chemical process plant maintenance/reliability experience.
  • Certified Electrician in the State of West Virginia (required).
  • Ability to read and interpret OEM documentation, technical drawings, and diagrams.
  • Proficiency with CMMS and tools for rotating equipment vibration surveillance/analysis.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication skills with operations, management, and contractors.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
