About the Role
TCL Specialties is hiring experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to support operations at our new chemical manufacturing facility in New Martinsville, WV.
We are currently hiring for both permanent and temporary full-time opportunities. This role is ideal for skilled E&I technicians with industrial maintenance experience who can troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and accurate documentation.
Schedule
- Full-time hours
- 24/7 plant operation
- Rotating shifts required
- Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to support safe, reliable plant operations
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, instrumentation, controls, and related systems
- Execute planned and scheduled E&I maintenance work
- Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, OEM manuals, and equipment documentation
- Use CMMS to document work orders, materials, and maintenance activities
- Partner with operations, maintenance, production, and third-party resources to prioritize work
- Support plant reliability by identifying equipment issues and helping reduce downtime
- Follow all safety, environmental, regulatory, PSM, and internal plant standards
- Document work accurately in accordance with maintenance procedures
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational or technical training preferred
- West Virginia Electrician License required
- 3+ years of E&I maintenance experience in an industrial setting required
- Chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Strong communication skills with operations, management, contractors, and maintenance teams
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
